Here’s your latest update on our EasyProperties portfolio, including where each development stands, key milestones reached, and what’s coming up next. ### Monarch Development The developer has completed the required administrative processes ahead of construction commencement. Council approval has been secured, and the NHBRC application has been submitted. At this stage, handovers will be structured in line with construction phases rather than fixed calendar dates. Investors will continue to receive regular progress updates, ensuring ongoing transparency as the development moves into the construction phase. All steps being taken are focused on delivering a compliant, high-quality development in line with expectations. ![Picture1-Feb-25-2026-09-31-11-9328-AM](https://properties.easyequities.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/Picture1-Feb-25-2026-09-31-11-9328-AM.jpg?width=500&height=334&name=Picture1-Feb-25-2026-09-31-11-9328-AM.jpg) ### Saxon Square  Construction at Saxon Square is advancing steadily with the main structural works largely complete and the project now well into the finishing and façade phases. Internal works are progressing across the basement and upper floors, including first- and second-fix services, plastering, waterproofing to balconies and bathrooms, and preparation for finishes, while external façade plastering and scaffolding are ongoing. Some activities, particularly façade works, stair elements and selected internal finishes, are experiencing short-term delays due to knock-on effects between floors; however, these are being actively managed by the contractor and professional team. Overall progress continues to be monitored against the critical path, with practical completion still targeted for middle May. ![Saxon Square](https://properties.easyequities.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/Saxon%20Square.jpeg?width=451&height=254&name=Saxon%20Square.jpeg) ### Blackbrick Gardens Attorneys are continuing with the preparation for lodgement, which is a key step in the registration process. While registration was previously anticipated toward the end of the year, the updated expectation is for registration to take place during February 2026. Attorneys are currently in the process of lodging the required documentation, after which the project will move into the registration phase. We are pleased to confirm that there have been no further delays on the development site. Occupation remains on track for 29 May 2026, with transfer and registration processes underway through the appointed conveyancing attorneys. Pre-occupation inspections will be arranged ahead of handover, and transfers will be lodged in batches per phase. Administrative matters are currently being addressed by the appointed planners, and the process is progressing well. Initial site works are underway, and the construction programme is scheduled to proceed as planned. Attorneys are finalising the necessary clearances in preparation for registration. At this point, we cannot predict the definite time of handover and registration.
