Last Thursday, we had the opportunity to represent EasyProperties at the grand opening of Volley Brooklyn in Pretoria, hosted by the Bow and Arc team. It was an evening filled with excitement and a glimpse into the future of student living!

The guests were buzzing with excitement, drinks were flowing, and the Pretoria sky provided the perfect backdrop. It was clear everyone involved - investors, homeowners and students alike – shared a sense of immense pride in this project.

Let me tell you, pictures don't do Volley Brooklyn justice. Stepping inside, we were all blown away by the meticulous attention to detail. High-end finishes, thoughtful layouts, and custom furniture – it truly offered a glimpse into the exceptional lifestyle these students get to experience.

But what truly impressed me? The sense of community! We spoke with several students, and it was clear they felt right at home. They raved about the hotel-like feel, the amenities and the high standards at Volley Brooklyn – this is definitely a place where students can thrive.

The response to Volley Brooklyn has been phenomenal! Not only are we impressed with the final product, but also with the speed of its success. The project went from construction start to student occupancy within 6.5 months!  And get this – 88% of the development sold out in just 16 minutes. Over 12,000 investors invested in the 8 units EasyProperties acquired, showcasing the incredible demand for this type of accommodation.

The demand is undeniable.  Volley Brooklyn generated a whopping 600 qualified rental leads for these units, and they're currently averaging 5 leads per day for the 2025 student intake. This immense interest paves the way for Volley's next development - Volley Baileys - which we're excited to be adding to the EasyProperties platform in the near future.
